Christ The Bread of Life Parish

Faith Formation

Religious Education
Religious Education in the Parish is a Catechetical Program on Faith Formation for Youngsters of the Parish Community.  In reality, it is a program for all ages – religious education is a life-long learning JOURNEY. Catechesis includes sacramental preparation (Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation); it is a program for pre-school, K-6, junior high/middle school, high school, and adults. The responsibility of the office is to train, assist and support Parish Catechetical Leaders.

2nd grade Students receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation (also referred to as Confession or Penance) & First Holy Communion
7th and 8th grade Students begin preparation for the Confirmation Program.
9th grade Students continue preparation for the Confirmation Program.
10th grade Students receive Confirmation and embrace the faith as full members of the Church.

With the Sacrament of Confirmation, we begin a new dimension
With Confirmation, we begin the journey of faith in a new dimension; seeking ways to contribute to the growth of our brothers and sisters in Christ. As confirmed members, we join in the initiatives of service rendered in love.
Confirmation, as the third and the last Sacrament of Initiation, is a beautiful beginning to participate in the Servant Leadership of Christ, our Lord.
